The top four teams at the end of the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup will earn a spot in the group stage, which is slated to take place in 2023. The fifth-ranked nation in the world, Venezuela, will play host to the Americas Qualifier in La Guaira from August 12 to August 21.

Manager Carlos Torres, who guided Lara to victory in the final game of the Venezuelan Women’s Baseball League, has extended invitations to camp to a total of 28 of the most talented female baseball players in the nation. Some of the players that have competed for Venezuela in international competitions include Sor Brito, Esquia Rengel, Maigleth Torres, Milangela Cortes, and Migreili Angulo.
